Best lobster bisque/chowder and lobster rolls anywhere!

What a disappointment with the fish chowder and clam chowder. The broth was delicious, but there wasn't much fish in the broth. ....mostly potatoes in the clam chowder and almost nothing in the fish chowder.....a few red dots of lobster. I won't try this again.

Fluffy clam chowder is MAGNIFICENT! Its s hole in the wall with the best freshest seafood at a very reasonable price!

I've searched New England for a thick, creamy lobster bisque and NO ONE competes with this place. It is the best soup you can imagine loaded with chunks of lobster, full claws, tail chunks etc. Everything here is good but their bisque is worth traveling for. Unreal!

Perfect hot lobster roll with fresh, buttery roll and lobster. Great customer service. Giant shrimp cocktail, excellent value for the price. All staff and patrons in masks (except one patron outfitted appropriately in an American flag shirt, which ostensibly represented his right to live free and spread COVID).

The Holy grail of lobster bisque.... whomever drinks from this cup.... you get the idea. Absolutely the best lobster bisque on the planet.

We visit this spot multiple times per year because the food is excellent and the service staff and owner are super friendly and welcoming. The steamed lobsters, steamer clams, clam chowder, lobster bisque and lobster roll are among the best in New England are part of our dining experience every trip to ghis amazing dining venue. Its a relaxed outdoor venue right by the ocean.

I have tried quite afa lobster rolls in and around NH and ME. This is one of the best lobster rolls. I prefer the hot buttery lobster roll. I have dreams of this lobster roll. Must eat category.

Now into our third year returning to the Rye Harbor Lobster Pound. It's our must stop place whenever we visit the area.

Best seafood chowder and lobster mac and cheese

Off the charts, the chowder with the lobster and sherry floater is beyond the best chowder 'event' I have had from Machias to key West. what a winner!

Stumbled upon this quaint shack by chance. But was impressed with the food. Fresh and tasty. Will be visiting again!

Teeny tiny place by the water. The 30 minute parking spots are free and there are more picnic tables by the water. We got three dishes to share/try: lobster bisque, hot buttered lobster roll and the lobster mac and cheese. Seriously, all three were the best we've ever had, absolutely delicious. Fresh, tender lobster, perfectly cooked and a lot of it for the price.

My number one favorite Hidden Gem on the East Coast this year got to meet Tyler McLaughlin which made my visit ten times more special I'm glad to make this and every year event going up to this amazing little shop right in the harbor

Delicious (non-mayo) lobster rolls and "fluffy" clam chowder with huge could of fresh lobster meat. Sooooo good.

The lobster bisque is so rich and creamy and topped with big chunks of lobster meat. Won’t go anywhere else now.

Best lobster bisque I've ever had and the customer service is top notch. Easy free 30 minute parking or inexpensive parking if you plan to stick around awhile. I got my bisque to go, drove home, and then proceeded to finish it in approximately 1 minute and honestly debated going back for more. Definitely a "don't miss."

This was our first visit to this little hidden gem on the sea! The lobsta roll was packed full of huge pieces of lobster , their dressing was perfect..not too much mayo, just enough to hold the lobster in the yummy toasted bun. The staff was very friendly, the service was very quick & prices were very reasonable for the large portions. Their "covid practices" with staff were excellent and the premises were emmaculate. This is our new go to spot as we wind our way up gorgeous Rt 1A. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very small shop. The lobsters were very good. It was a bit more expensive then expected. The staff is very nice.

The BEST clam chowder you can have in the Seacoast! Fluffy clam chowder is thick, and has hit lobster meat cooked in a butter sherry sauce and the chowder is full of seafood. A quaint family-run stand with outdoor seating, right in the centre of Rye Harbour. A MUST if you're anywhere in the Seacoast area and want a fresh, homeade chowder that is to die for.

The perfect lobster roll after a day at the beach! The lobster itself is overflowing and perfectly flavored to add richness while highlighting the natural flavor of the lobster. Highly recommend eating at the picnic tables further down the harbor, a divine alignment between the beauty of this lobster roll and the beauty of the landscape. Can’t wait to come back for more!
